The Grammy Award victory of Taylor Swift for Album of the Year was overshadowed by allegations of impoliteness directed at Celine Dion. Swift, who has a reputation for being cordial, allegedly seized the trophy from Dion without recognizing her.

Swift's stunned and overjoyed response to her victory might have been a contributing factor. Furthermore, it has been suggested that Swift appeared to disregard her boyfriend Travis Kelce during her acceptance speech; however, this could be attributed to his absence.
Swift was defended by Page Six on the grounds that she sang along enthusiastically to Dion's performance and that photographs of the two appeared backstage together. Social media users have nonetheless criticized Swift for her conduct. Although there has been no speculation regarding "bad blood."
