But let’s not forget that President Biden faced criticism for his delayed response to the attacks. While Americans were anxiously awaiting a strong statement of support, Biden was busy hosting a “fall barbecue” at the White House. What a splendid way to show solidarity with our allies and grieve for the lives lost. Clearly, Biden understands the importance of prioritizing a good cookout over international crises.
As the number of Americans killed and missing rose, slowly but surely, the Biden administration finally sprang into action. It’s heartwarming to see how they’re “making sure Israel has what it needs to defend itself.” Because nothing says support like empty promises and delayed action.
