In a stunning turn of events, House Freedom Caucus Chairman, Rep. Bob Good (R-VA), wasted no time in backing the powerhouse that is Donald Trump for president. With lightning speed, Good threw his support behind the former Commander-in-Chief, mere minutes after Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) decided to exit the race.

In a show of unwavering loyalty, Good took to the Twitter-sphere to let it be known that he’s all in for Trump. With a fervor that couldn’t be contained, Good sang the praises of the 45th President, calling him the best leader of his lifetime and rallying for the revival of the policies that made America oh-so-great.
The timing of this grand endorsement couldn’t have been more fortuitous for Good, who had recently been crowned as the head honcho of the House Freedom Caucus. Without so much as a whisper of opposition, the congressman secured his position, no doubt bolstered by his open affection for the Trumpster.
And Good certainly isn’t the only member of the Freedom Caucus to fall under the spell of Trump. Many of his allies within the group have already thrown their hats into the Trump ring. Following in the footsteps of other GOP contenders who have gracefully bowed out, DeSantis himself hopped on the Trump train after ending his own crusade for the presidency.
“I am committed to doing everything I can to help ensure he is reelected President,” Good affirmed, leaving no room for doubt about where his loyalties lie.
But it seems that even amid the fervor of Trumpism, Good hasn’t forgotten about his buddy Ron DeSantis. He expressed his hope that the Florida governor will make another run for the White House in 2028, signaling that the conservative camaraderie is still alive and well, albeit under the backdrop of the Trump empire.
