The recent survey on young voters’ opinions about Israel and the Middle East has caused quite a stir, and it’s no surprise why. The Harvard-Harris survey revealed that more than half of Generation Z respondents believe that Israel’s land should be abolished and given to Hamas and the Palestinians. Can you even imagine? As if that weren’t shocking enough, the survey also showed that support for Hamas and the Palestinians was significantly higher among younger voters, with 60 percent of the 18-24 age range justifying the heinous attack on Israel on October 7th. Yikes!
But wait, it gets even worse. Senator Roger Marshall from Kansas described these alarming survey results as “disturbing,” and let’s face it, that’s putting it mildly. It’s downright terrifying! The fact that these young Americans are sympathizing with actual terrorists who hate America is beyond concerning. And who’s to blame for this ideological rot among our youth? Well, Senator Marshall seems to think the woke values and victim culture are to blame, and honestly, it’s hard to disagree with him on that one.

And let’s not forget about the Oct. 7 attack on Israel. While older respondents overwhelmingly agreed that it was an act of terrorism, younger voters in the 18-24 and 25-34 age ranges felt quite differently. A whopping 60 percent of those in the 18-24 range believed that the attack was justified. Justified! Can you believe that? It’s like they’re living in an alternate universe where terrorism is somehow acceptable.
Thankfully, there are still some glimmers of hope in this dark, dark tunnel. Overall, respondents supported Israel 81 percent to 19 percent in the ongoing conflict, but support for Hamas was 50-50 in the 18-24 age group. It’s not perfect, but at least there are still some young Americans who haven’t completely lost their minds.
In conclusion, the future of our country hangs by a thread, and it’s up to us to set these young voters straight. We cannot let our values be tainted by woke ideology and sympathizing with terrorists. The Western Journal is counting on its readers to stand with them in the fight for truth. So, let’s band together and put an end to this madness before it’s too late!
