The decision by the Biden-led DOJ to indict Donald Trump, who was the president of the United States, has raised concerns about the witch hunt being conducted by the Democrats. Despite the criticism aimed at Trump, many of his Republican opponents have also stated that he is being treated unfairly.
Ron DeSantis, the Florida governor who is considered to be Trump's closest rival, made a promising statement regarding the allegations against him. He said that they were a threat to the country and that Trump should be presumed innocent.
Asa Hutchinson, who was Arkansas' governor, called on Donald Trump to drop out of the presidential race.

In response to the indictment, Mike Pence, the governor of Indiana, called on Attorney General Garland to explain the reasoning behind the decision. His comments have a significant political authority due to his experience as the Trump's vice president.
Former New Jersey governor Chris Christie, who is one of the Trump campaign's key supporters, stated that no person is above the law. He said that the law must be applied impartially.
Tim Scott, a senator from South Carolina, criticized the way the justice system was not equipped with the Lady of Justice's blindfold. As the next president, he or she would ensure that all of the system's irregularities and injustices are purged so that the people of the country have confidence in their rights being respected.
Democratic presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy criticized the double standards that are displayed in the justice system, especially when it comes to the cases of people who are involved in peaceful protests. He noted that there are two standards for people who are involved in riots and peaceful demonstrations: those who are involved in the Black Lives Matter movement and Antifa, and those who are involved in the January 6th protests. It appears that there is one for Joe Biden, and another for Trump.
The presidential candidates of the Republican Party support Donald Trump, who they believe is being persecuted unfairly. They believe that the allegations against him are politically motivated. They want the law to be applied equally and guarantee everyone's privileges regardless of their status.
