The biased International Criminal Court (ICC) is planning to issue warrants against Israeli leaders, like Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, for defending their country during the Gaza conflict. This action goes against the right of Israel to protect itself from terrorist attacks and threatens its sovereignty. Reps. Chip Roy (R-TX) and Brian Mast (R-FL) are taking a stand against this injustice.
These two Republican lawmakers are calling on the Biden administration to impose sanctions on the ICC if it moves forward with targeting Israeli officials or allies outside of its authority. They have introduced a bill, The Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act, to address this issue. The bill already has significant support from Republican leaders in the House.

It is crucial for the Biden administration to stand firm against the ICC’s overreach and defend American interests. The ICC should not be allowed to undermine U.S. sovereignty or target our allies without facing consequences. The Trump administration was right to impose sanctions on the ICC, and Biden’s reversal of this policy is misguided.
Rep. Mast emphasized that the ICC will face repercussions if it goes after American officials or allies. Rep. Stefanik criticized the ICC for its bias against Israel and its failure to address human rights abuses by terrorist groups like Hamas. This situation highlights the importance of protecting U.S. interests and standing up against international organizations that act unjustly.
