House Democrats Vote Against Deporting Illegals Who Attack Police Officers

House Democrats once again revealed their true beliefs when it comes to illegal immigrants and law enforcement with their recent actions concerning a bill focused on deporting illegals who attack police officers.

A significant number of House Democrats, about 150, voted against the Detain and Deport Illegal Aliens Who Assault Cops Act, which was ultimately passed by a majority of 265-148, with all Republicans in support. Surprisingly, 54 Democrats did show their support for the bill, led by Rep. Jeff Van Drew, but the overall rejection from the majority of Democrats is concerning.

It is important to understand that illegal immigrants who turn violent towards law enforcement officers should not be allowed to remain in the country. This bill aimed to enforce sensible actions against individuals who show blatant disregard for the law and the individuals who uphold it.

The increase in attacks on police officers by illegal immigrants highlights the necessity of such legislation. It is alarming to see the Democrats, who often claim to support law enforcement, voting against a bill that seeks to protect those who protect us.

It is clear that the Democratic Party’s priorities are skewed when they choose to protect violent illegal immigrants over the safety and well-being of our law enforcement officers. This is a troubling trend that showcases a lack of respect for the rule of law and the individuals who risk their lives to uphold it.

It is essential for lawmakers to prioritize the safety of our communities and those who serve to protect them. The actions of these Democrats further highlight the divide in priorities between the two major political parties, with the Republican Party standing firm in support of law enforcement and the rule of law.
