The Republican-controlled House of Representatives is taking a closer look at the COVID-19 pandemic and its origins. Led by Chairman Brad Wenstrup of Ohio and Chairman James Comer of Kentucky, the select subcommittee on the coronavirus pandemic and the House oversight and accountability committee are seeking answers to questions that have been left unanswered for far too long.

Despite sending out several letters requesting documents, testimonies, and other information, the two ranking members haven’t received any response. As a result, they’re now urging Dr. Anthony Fauci, the president of EcoHealth Alliance and the Biden administration, and to provide evidence and testify, so that they can ascertain the actual origin of the virus.
Based on the evidence gathered to date, it seems that the virus originated from a lab in Wuhan, China, and was financed using funds from American taxpayers. Additionally, it seems that Dr. Fauci was aware of this fact but opted not to make it public.
In order to obtain further understanding of the matter, Rep. Wenstrup and Rep. Comer have dispatched subsequent letters to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and the U.S. National Institute of Health. The letters seek calendars and phone records of different officials, as well as communication documents between EcoHealth Alliance and establishments such as the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Rep. Wenstrup and Rep. Comer are determined to get to the bottom of this situation in order to protect the American people from any future pandemics. They are committed to conducting a thorough investigation that will provide answers to the questions that have been asked for years.
The House of Representatives is taking a stand to ensure that all information is made available to the public. It is their mission to provide transparency and justice so that the people can have faith in their government and trust that they are doing all they can to keep them safe.
