House GOP Reschedules to Address Iran After Israel Attack

The House GOP leaders are not messing around when it comes to standing up for the good ol’ US of A and its friends. The House Majority Leader, Steve Scalise (R-LA), ain’t playin’ no games and he’s changin’ up the schedule to show Iran that their shenanigans won’t be tolerated. That’s right, the schedule has been updated to focus on a whopping 17 bills related to Iran and Israel. They are not messing around.

That’s not all, folks! Eleven of these bills are so serious that they need a two-thirds majority to pass. That’s a big deal. And the other six bills are also no walk in the park, but they only need a simple majority to pass. These bills cover everything from sanctions to showing our unwavering support for Israel.

But wait, there’s more! They’re not just focused on punishing Iran, but they also want to make sure the United States stands strong with Israel. Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) is working on a bill for aid to Israel, and it’s going to be a sight to behold. Will he pair it with aid for Ukraine? The suspense is killing us, but we know one thing for sure – Israel is going to get the help it needs and deserves.

If that ain’t enough, they’re also taking a stand against some pesky phrases that are just plain old antisemitic. They’re denouncing these phrases left and right to show those troublemakers that they won’t stand for any nonsense.

And let’s not forget the big meeting that’s happening to talk about “Iran’s recent attack on Israel and defense supplemental spending.” That’s right, they’re getting down to business and making sure that the US is ready to show its strength in the face of aggression.

So, get ready, folks. The House GOP leaders are on the move, and they ain’t messin’ around when it comes to standing up for what’s right. Iran, you better watch out because the United States and its allies mean business.
