Wowza! The House Committees are swinging for the fences in their latest showdown with Hunter Biden! According to multiple sources, these committees have voted to recommend that ol’ Hunter be held in contempt of Congress for flouting a subpoena. That’s what we call a Capitol Hill cage match, folks!
This all went down just hours after Hunter made a surprise appearance at one of the committee hearings. Some are calling it a “stunt,” but we just call it sneaky! House Republicans are saying, “Hold up there, Hunter. First, we want you to spill the beans behind closed doors before we let you have your big moment in the public eye.” They’re not giving an inch on this one!

The House Judiciary committee voted 23-to-14 in favor of throwing Hunter under the bus, while the Oversight Committee followed suit with a 25-to-21 recommendation. That’s a whole lot of folks hollering, “Off with his head!” The Oversight Committee even put it in writing, declaring, “Robert Hunter Biden shall be found to be in contempt of Congress for failure to comply with a congressional subpoena.” They even brought up the possibility of referring him to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for prosecution. Ouch!
But wait, it gets even juicier! The committees are making some serious allegations about President Biden’s involvement in Hunter’s, well, let’s just call them “questionable business dealings.” They’re throwing around words like “knew,” “participated in,” and “profited from.” The plot thickens!
And get this: Hunter’s little stunt caught even the Democrats off guard! Nobody seems to have known he was planning to crash the party, not even good ol’ dad, President Joe Biden. Can you imagine the dinner table conversation at the Biden household after this one?
But here’s the best part: CNN is reporting that Congress might not really have any teeth when it comes to enforcing this contempt punishment. So, in the end, all this hollering and finger-pointing might not amount to much. Oh, the drama!
