Hunter Biden’s legal team has recently revealed a new strategy that has caused many of his father’s Democratic supporters to reconsider their positions. Last week, Hunter Biden’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, sent a letter to the Department of Justice requesting investigations into Rudy Giuliani, former lawyer for former President Donald Trump, former Trump advisor Steve Bannon, John Paul Mac Isaac, owner of a Delaware computer repair shop, and others. Lowell’s letter stated that these individuals had “violated Delaware laws by accessing, copying, altering, and distributing Hunter Biden’s personal computer data” from the laptop. This directly contradicts the claims that the laptop was Russian disinformation or had any other malicious origin, which many of Biden’s allies had relied on and defended for over two years.
The letter from Lowell seemed to acknowledge that the laptop computer found at a Delaware repair shop was indeed owned by Hunter Biden, despite previous doubts about its origin. This put many of Biden’s allies in a difficult position, as they had been vocal in dismissing the laptop’s authenticity. Christiane Amanpour of CNN referred to the computer as Russian disinformation, while David Frum from the Atlantic stated that the laptop story was “obviously false” and “fake.” Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) confidently declared that the laptop was a Russian effort.
Lowell later tried to retract his statement that the laptop belonged to Hunter Biden, but it was too late for many. Miranda Devine, a journalist from the New York Post, noted that Lowell’s letter exposed the truth about the laptop, while Outkick founder and radio host Clay Travis said that Hunter Biden was not acknowledging that everything on the laptop was genuine. Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe also weighed in, stating that the Bidens had lied about it for three years.
Hunter Biden’s new legal strategy has exposed the lies of his father’s Democrat allies and caused them to reconsider their positions. It appears that Hunter Biden had no qualms about discarding loyalty once it no longer served his immediate interests. The implications of this new tactic remain to be seen, but it is clear that Hunter Biden is not afraid to take a stand and challenge his father’s allies when he feels it is necessary.
