In what seems to be another damning investigation against the Biden family, an IRS whistleblower has informed Congress that the high-profile case against Hunter Biden is being mishandled. Attorney Mark D. Lytle, who represents the anonymous federal agency employee, wrote a letter on April 19, 2023, alerting the congressional committee leaders of the allegations of preferential treatment and dishonesty by a senior political appointee during a Wednesday hearing.

While the letter does not mention Hunter Biden’s name, Fox News has confirmed that the subject under investigation is the president’s son. According to Lytle’s letter, his client has been overseeing an “ongoing and sensitive investigation of a high-profile, controversial subject since early 2020 and would like to make protected whistleblower disclosures to Congress.”
Lytle also alleges that Hunter Biden’s investigation has been given special treatment due to his family’s political influence. The attorney’s letter further claimed that the investigation team had refused to look into certain sensitive topics due to a conflict of interest. It appears that politics has improperly infected the case, and preferential treatment has been given in decision-making protocols that would have been followed by law enforcement professionals in similar circumstances if the subject were not politically connected.
The investigation’s allegations are devastating to the Biden family, whose reputation has been tarnished by numerous shady dealings with overseas countries such as China and Ukraine. Republicans have been incessantly questioning Hunter Biden’s business dealings, and it seems they were right from the beginning.
Lytle’s letter also revealed that his client has already made legally-protected disclosures to the IRS. Now, the whistleblower is offering to provide the Congress with the same legally-protected disclosures pursuant to 26 U.S.C. § 6103(f)(5) and the protections afforded by 5 U.S.C. 2302(b)(8)(C) to fulfill its constitutional oversight function in a non-partisan manner to the leadership of the relevant committees of both parties. However, due to privacy laws, certain information has not been shared with the attorney, making it difficult for them to make fully informed judgments about how best to proceed.
It’s clear that the Biden family has been hiding behind their political clout for too long, but now, the truth is finally coming out. Republicans have been questioning Hunter Biden’s wrongdoing for years, and with the revelations of this investigation, they have been vindicated. It’s time for the Biden family to come clean once and for all.
