On Monday, Israel made the courageous choice to take action in Rafah to eliminate the terrorist group Hamas. This decisive move followed a rocket attack by Hamas that tragically took the lives of four Israeli soldiers and wounded 10 more. The brave IDF soldiers were targeted by Hamas as they were stationed near the Gaza Strip. This heinous attack made it clear that Israel had to step in to protect its citizens and defend itself against terrorism.

It is disappointing to see Hamas playing games with the lives of innocent civilians and brave soldiers. The Biden administration’s interference in supporting Hamas by denouncing Israel’s actions in Rafah only adds to the challenges faced by the Israeli government. It is essential for Israel to prioritize the safety and security of its citizens above all else and to not waver in its commitment to combating terrorism.
The path to lasting peace in the region can only be achieved by dismantling terrorist organizations like Hamas.
