In the latest episode of Hollywood’s despotic delusions, Jack Black and his merry band Tenacious D proved once again why mainstream entertainment is the hotbed of radical leftist propaganda. During a birthday celebration mid-concert in Sydney, Kyle Gass, the bandmate in question, used the occasion to turn an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump into a punchline. Oh, joy.
The circus began as Black serenaded Gass with “Happy Birthday” and presented him with a cake. With all the sobriety of a clown at a child’s party, Black urged Gass to “make a wish.” And what did the enlightened Gass wish for? That the assassin “don’t miss Trump next time.” The crowd’s reaction was telling—a mix of nervous laughter and applause, revealing just how low the bar has been set for decency.

Would it have killed Black to call out Gass on his vile comment? Apparently, the answer is a resounding no, considering he essentially endorsed it by omission. Preaching to a crowd hungry for validation of their misguided beliefs, it’s no surprise that Black didn’t bother to correct his bandmate. After all, in Hollywood, hate speech is the new “Happy Birthday.”
This is the same party that incessantly clamors for gun control and decries violence, suddenly rolling out the red carpet for a remark wishing for the successful assassination of a former President. The left’s double standard is so glaring, it makes a mirror look opaque. Make it make sense? Only if one buys into their twisted logic that some lives are more worthy of protection than others.
Gass, Black, and their Democratic cheer squad seem hell-bent on redefining democracy to fit their radical views. Their rhetoric is not just irresponsible; it’s dangerously hypocritical and deeply un-American. When Biden-Harris HQ shared Black’s commitment to this reckless ideology, it only underscored the rot that proliferates within their ranks. It’s a far cry from the America rooted in respect and democratic values.
The escalation of hostile rhetoric to the point of glamorizing attempted murder is beyond the pale. Black, Gass, and the rest of their ilk are a reminder of why conservativism must stand firm. If the left has its way, democracy will be distorted beyond recognition, reducing our nation to a battlefield of ideological extremism.
American patriots must remain vigilant and resist this descent into madness. The world doesn’t need more Hollywood hypocrisy; it needs voices of reason and integrity. And that, unfortunately, is in short supply in Tinseltown today.
