Kamala Harris Called Out for Economic Deception by Fox Business Network

In the latest episode of political gymnastics, Vice President Kamala Harris seems to have mastered the art of economic deception, following in the footsteps of her boss, President Joe Biden. On a recent segment of Fox Business Network’s “Kudlow,” John Carney, the economics editor for Breitbart News, pointed out that Harris has been peddling a particularly creative version of reality when it comes to the state of the economy. It appears that the faithful VP is using the same playbook that propelled Biden into office — one filled with inaccuracies and optimistic narratives that surprisingly go unchecked.

The crux of her economic fabrications revolves around the notion that the economy was in shambles when the Biden administration took over. Carney rightly highlighted this claim as a repeat performance of what got Biden elected in 2020. Apparently, the Harris strategy revolves around recycling preposterous narratives because it worked once, and why not give it another go? The marketing of falsehoods may not be new, but the sheer audacity of continuing this charade in the face of reality is something to behold.

In an impressive display of revisionist history, Harris presented the claim that manufacturing jobs plummeted by 200,000 prior to the pandemic. Meanwhile, the actual numbers show a net gain of 414,000 jobs. Clearly, facts are merely suggestions in the Democrat’s world. One has to wonder if the “fact-checkers” have simply misplaced their glasses or if they’re just letting the Vice President wander through economic misrepresentation unchecked. If only they could muster the same enthusiasm for scrutinizing Harris that they seem to reserve for conservative figures, the truth might shine a little brighter.

It gets better; according to Carney, Harris has become such a fan of these fibs that she repeats them not just in speeches but also doubles down during interviews with platforms like MSNBC. This is the kind of committed storytelling one might expect from a seasoned fiction author, not someone in charge of economic policy. The real question now is whether anyone in the administration will step up to pull her aside and say, “Hey Kamala, it’s time to stop clowning around.”

While it may seem like Harris is skating by on a slippery slope of misinformation, at least a couple of mainstream media outlets, like CNN and The Washington Post, have decided to call her out on it. What a sight to see, a battle between the truth and the towering pile of BS coming straight from the White House. It’s almost like a reality show where the ratings are based on who can twist the storyline the hardest, and the stakes have never been higher.
