Most attempts to evoke passion for Harris result in humorous caricatures of the activists themselves. The emotional zeal of progressives often amplifies the absurdity, with social media posts filled with lofty dreams of a historic win. The immense effort put into the idea of Harris becoming the first woman of color in the Oval Office overlooks the fact that it’s not about the Oscars; it’s about the actual state of the nation, which would be left unsaid amidst fervent TikTok tantrums.

As the countdown keeps ticking toward election day, those committing political suicide by doubling down on the mantra of “Trump = Hitler” prepare to flood the polls. Civic engagement should be celebrated, but it’s hard to ignore the looming specter of misinformation clouding their judgment. Ignoring Harris’s questionable record both in D.C. and California, including the debacle at the southern border and a nationwide crime spike, seems to be their specialty.
In lockstep with historical revisionism, these fervent supporters may not only overlook past mistakes but will also ignore the ramifications of their choices, all in the name of progress. Forget reason; it’s time to join hands and hope against hope that Harris can lead the left out of the quagmire they’ve created. Should this happen, America may just find itself on a rollercoaster ride of policy disasters, all while these zealots cheer wildly from the sidelines.
