Vice President Kamala Harris has managed to turn her role as “Border Czar” into more of a vanishing act than a leadership position, aided and abetted by a sympathetic press that seems to forget her original job description. While dodging questions about the southern border, she’s also attempted to distance herself from her involvement in the administration’s expensive green initiatives, particularly when it comes to electric vehicles. Just months ago, Congress allocated a staggering $7.5 billion to create a network of electric vehicle chargers across the nation, all in the name of climate change. Fast forward to late 2023, and the grand total of those chargers installed is, somehow, a big fat zero. Seven chargers operating from funding meant for thousands might sound like record-breaking progress in the Twilight Zone, but in the real world, it’s simply embarrassing.
As if that wasn’t enough, Vice President Harris also bumbled her way into overseeing a rural broadband project that was supposed to connect millions of Americans. However, after nearly three years, her ambitious $42 billion plan has failed to deliver a single connection. It seems that even with a goal as straightforward as expanding internet access, Harris’s leadership has turned into a comedy of errors. Instead of connecting homes and businesses, the initiative has devolved into a tangled web of diversity requirements, climate measures, and labor preferences that seem more about political optics than actual results.
No, Israel’s supposed “genocide” is not real. That’s a vile smear, used by bigots to try to legitimize the moral, ethical, defensive war Israel is waging against terrorists. It’s the same smear leveled against Biden & Harris. Rather stand up to it with truth, she hedges/panders. https://t.co/C3C6k9PLY3

While the curtain rises on her lack of success with high-speed internet access, the Biden administration has cleverly used the funding to win over political allies rather than answer the call of a desperate populace hungry for broadband. Delays are so rampant that officials have called the environment surrounding the project chaotic, with an ever-shifting landscape of regulations and expectations. The people in charge apparently have no idea what direction to steer their own ship and, as a bonus, are providing guidance either too late or not at all.
It’s a remarkable achievement for an administration to so thoroughly flub what should be simple projects aimed at improving people’s lives. Instead of focusing on actual results, the Biden-Harris duo seems dedicated to a course of action that fills the coffers of preferred political factions while neglecting the fundamental duty of governance. It raises eyebrows—if not alarms—over what exactly Kamala Harris has been doing for the last few years. Perhaps focusing on the priorities of her radical agenda has distracted her from the task right in front of her.
NEW
Facebook is now censoring the fact that @VP Harris has failed to connect even one person to the Internet despite leading the Administration’s $42 billion infrastructure plan for 1,000+ days.
Facebook is labeling this “false information,” not because anyone has been… pic.twitter.com/spOFPPyDJk

In a turn of events not at all surprising to conservatives, it appears that social media giant Facebook has taken on the role of gatekeeper, censoring criticism of Harris’s failures. Any truth about her inability to connect any of those promised homes has been branded “false information,” all while her surrogates and loyalists provide the validation needed for this outrageous claim. This is democracy in action? Labeling inconvenient truths as misinformation raises significant questions about the integrity of information in the public sphere, especially during an election cycle when facts would typically matter more than ever.
Ultimately, facts have never been particularly favorable to the Biden-Harris administration, leading to a barrage of excuses that increasingly sound suspiciously like deflections. With clamor over public trust and transparency, it would appear that the only ones losing in this multilayered charade are the Americans who genuinely need these services. As Harris stumbles through her tenure, all signs point to her being more focused on public relations than on delivering results. With Lizzo leading the charge and her political survival on the horizon, one hopes that voters see the larger picture—one that reveals a lack of accountability and a complete abdication of responsibility.
