Despite the country's impending financial crisis, President Joe Biden is not taking responsibility for the situation. Instead, he is blaming everyone but himself. According to White House officials, Biden will talk to House Speaker Kevin McCarthy about the situation later today. McCarthy has been highly critical of the president's negotiating skills.
Before leaving for Hiroshima, Biden said that he was hoping that House Speaker McCarthy would be negotiating with him. He then suggested that he could use the 14th Amendment to increase the debt ceiling. However, experts noted that this would not be allowed to hold up in court. Biden is stuck in a socialist agenda, and negotiations are not being conducted.
In response to Biden's statement about the debt ceiling, McCarthy called him a puppet of Democrats who are in control of everything. He noted that his party is prepared to give back the unspent COVID funds, but the Democrats are still fighting to prevent this. McCarthy also claimed that Biden is influenced by the socialist elements of the Democrats.

Press Secretary Jean-Pierre responded by suggesting that the House Speaker's team was putting extreme partisan demands on the table. It seems that the Democrats are not willing to compromise, which could lead to a possible debt default. If this occurs, the country could be in danger of going into recession.
Congress created the debt ceiling to prevent the government from spending more than it can afford. Despite the progress that both parties have made in negotiations, they have not come to an agreement regarding the increase in the debt limit. It is now time for Biden to stop blaming everyone but himself and take responsibility for what is happening in the country. The country cannot afford to lose its credit rating.
