Lara Trump, recently appointed as co-chair of the Republican National Committee and daughter-in-law to former President Donald Trump, has unveiled the pivotal battleground states capturing the RNC's attention for the crucial 2024 general election. In an exclusive interview on Fox News's Mornings with Maria, Lara Trump disclosed that the RNC is closely monitoring Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin to fortify Trump's reelection prospects. Emphasizing the strategic importance of these key battlegrounds, Lara Trump stressed their spotlight in the RNC's strategy.

Lara Trump elaborated on the RNC's strategic approach, pinpointing Pennsylvania as a focal point for the Trump campaign. "Pennsylvania is undoubtedly one of our priorities," Lara asserted, underscoring the significance of this battleground state. Additionally, she emphasized Arizona and Wisconsin as areas of intense focus for the RNC.
Recent polls indicate President Joe Biden maintaining a strong lead in Pennsylvania, with a 10-point margin over Donald Trump. However, in Arizona, the lone battleground state on the southern border, Trump is gaining ground against Biden. The race in Wisconsin remains fiercely competitive, with Biden holding a slight edge over Trump, intensifying the competition.
Directing attention to Michigan, a state that handed Donald Trump a significant victory in 2016, Lara Trump expressed confidence in reclaiming it. "Michigan, a state where Donald Trump secured a major win in 2016, is within our reach," she stated with conviction.
Supported by a March poll indicating a three-point lead for Trump over Biden in Michigan, Lara's optimism is buoyed by Independent voters leaning towards Trump, while both candidates enjoy substantial support from their respective parties.
Lara Trump also highlighted Georgia as a critical battleground state commanding the RNC's focus. Despite Georgia voting blue in the 2020 election, Lara noted Trump's narrow lead over Biden, making it a prime target for the RNC's efforts. As Biden's hold on the Peach State weakens, attention shifts to neighboring North Carolina as a potential swing state in 2024.
While Governor Roy Cooper advocates for North Carolina over Georgia, Lara Trump refrained from favoring North Carolina or Nevada, both targets of the Biden campaign to maintain their blue status in the upcoming election.
Concluding the interview, Lara Trump reaffirmed the RNC's unwavering focus on all battleground states. "We are highly focused on all battleground states. There are 19 key counties across the country we must secure to ensure Donald Trump becomes the 47th President," she declared, solidifying the RNC's dedication to securing victory in the 2024 election.
