Jack Smith and the team of special counsel are once again making numerous errors in their investigation of Donald Trump. One of these is the failure to provide the president's legal team with all the relevant CCTV footage.
It’s even more suspicious since Smith and his associates went to the U.S. District Judge Howell, who was an Obama-appointed official, and asked for a search warrant for Trump's account. They also wanted to keep it a secret.
As an Obama-appointed judge, Judge Howell was able to approve both the non-disclosure agreement and the warrant. She also noted that Trump was a flight risk. It was an insulting remark, and it’s hard to believe that the former president could run away from any investigation. But, it turns out that, even Judge Howell did make a mistake.

After Smith's team admitted that they made a mistake in seeking a non-disclosure order, it seems like they are trying to justify their investigation into Trump by making these errors.
Florence Pan, who was appointed by Biden, the judge who approved the warrant, defended the decision not to inform Trump about the details of the investigation. She noted that doing so could threaten the integrity of the probe.
It's clear that Smith and his team are playing dirty as they continue to investigate Trump. These secret warrants and other errors only serve to undermine the investigation's credibility. It's time to put an end to this partisan witch hunt.
