Senator Joe Manchin has finally spilled the beans on what everyone already knew: the far-left radicals are the puppet masters behind President Joe Biden’s dwindling campaign. Appearing to address his former teammates in the Democratic Party, Manchin took no prisoners when calling out his old gang for clinging to Biden despite a disastrous debate performance.
His analysis was sharp and clear. When the Democratic Party should be strategizing to keep the Senate and reclaim the House, they continue to be infatuated with their far-left agenda. Manchin pointed out how their undying support for Biden, even after his abysmal debate showing, only underscores the extent of the far left’s chokehold on the current administration.

Manchin, now sporting the Independent badge, admitted that the polarization in both camps was a significant reason for his departure. However, blaming both sides for the mess the nation is in seemed a bit too convenient. After all, it’s a hard sell to compare the Republicans’ focus on constitutional values and border security with the Democrats’ push for radical social changes and expanded government control.
Meanwhile, the Democratic apparatus continued their desperate attempts to breathe life back into Biden’s sinking ship. According to reports, Bernie Sanders huddled up with Biden, aiming to hash out a 100-day plan to somehow make Joe look like he’s more than a placeholder. Sanders and his fellow progressive cohorts, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, have been all-in on Biden, further highlighting the stark contrast between sensible policies and socialist fantasies.
Manchin didn’t stop at internal party dynamics. He touched on the recent assassination attempt against former President Trump, indicting partisan extremism on both sides as the underlying issue. It’s interesting, though, that the bulk of vitriol and violence seems to stem more from the left’s side of the spectrum. The real extremists are easy to spot with their constant drumbeat for open borders, Green New Deal nonsense, and defunding the police.
In his final remarks, Manchin called for a return to love of country and a departure from the entrenched hatred between political factions. While the West Virginia senator’s sentiment echoes a noble message, those playing from the far-left playbook are unlikely to trade in their socialist mantras for a cup of bipartisan tea anytime soon.
The reality remains, power in the Democratic Party resides firmly on the fringes, leaving moderate voices like Manchin’s to either conform or hit the road. It’s a circus act worth watching, but don’t hold your breath for any tightrope walks toward the center.
