In Massachusetts, a terrible and tragic incident unfolded, leaving a $5 million mansion tainted with the grim aftermath. The bodies of Rakesh Kamal, 57, his wife Teena, 54, and their 18-year-old daughter, Ariana, were discovered in their Dover home. The authorities hinted that domestic violence may have been the cause, and it’s a bit of a mess. The district attorney, Michael Morrissey, indicated a gun was suspiciously close to Rakesh’s body. With the family found in such a state, the community is understandably shaken, but the district attorney insists that there’s no ongoing danger.
The massive mansion, valued at a staggering $5.45 million, was quite the spectacle. Boasting a whopping 11 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, this estate was not too shabby, and it was the only residence for the unfortunate family. And to add to the pain, Ariana, the 18-year-old daughter, was a student at Middlebury College, a lavish $64,800 a year private liberal arts school in Vermont. It’s not every day you hear about a tragedy in such an affluent setting.
As investigators continue to piece this all together, the district attorney shared his thoughts on the issue of domestic violence. He mentioned how tensions can flair up during the holiday season.
