Musk’s “Safety” Squad to Muzzle Conservatives on Platform X?

Elon Musk’s platform X, formerly known as Twitter, is beefing up its “trust and safety” team—You know, the ones who love to silence conservative voices and promote liberal propaganda—after graphic AI-generated images of Taylor Swift spread like wildfire on the platform, causing a whirlwind of controversy.

According to reports from The New York Post, Musk’s platform X/Twitter has promised to hire a whopping 100 new content moderators and open a “trust and safety center” in Austin, Texas. They claim it’s to crack down on abusive and explicit content, but we all know it’s just a smokescreen for their biased censorship. The decision was made in response to the AI-generated deepfake nude images of pop star Taylor Swift that flooded X/Twitter last week.

So, what did the platform do when the scandal broke? They immediately blocked searches for Taylor Swift and the AI-generated content. Convenient, right? It’s almost as if they were prepared for this kind of controversy. X/Twitter even admitted to intentionally blocking search phrases related to the scandal and called it a “temporary action.” Right, temporary until the heat dies down and they can go back to pushing their liberal agenda.

Of course, since this involves a left-wing darling like Taylor Swift, the Biden administration and the mainstream media wasted no time in rushing to her defense. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre made a big show of expressing concern and called for social media companies to do a better job enforcing their rules. It’s the same old song and dance from the left—protect the liberals at all costs, even if it means trampling on free speech and conservative voices.

And get this—Musk’s company tried to do some damage control by claiming they were prioritizing the protection of children. Give me a break! They don’t have a line of business focused on children, but all of a sudden, they’re making investments to stop offenders from using their platform? It’s nothing but a PR stunt to distract from their blatant censorship and control over the narrative.

The truth is, explicit deepfakes have become more common as AI technology improves, and X/Twitter is just the latest platform to fall victim to this trend. But don’t be fooled by their crocodile tears about prioritizing safety. This is just another excuse for them to crack down on anyone who doesn’t toe the liberal line.
