Nathan Wade Exits Fulton DA’s Office: Democracy Savior or Shady Skedaddler?

Farewell to the special prosecutor Nathan Wade in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office! Wade decided to jet off this afternoon, dropping a letter where he talked about how important democracy is. He mentioned that even though the court didn’t find any conflicts of interest for the District Attorney, he still wanted to skedaddle to speed up the case. Now, that’s a real head-scratcher.

The Fulton County DA, Fani Willis, sang Wade’s praises for diving into the investigation. She thanked him for taking on the task of looking into the claims that folks tried to tamper with Georgia’s 2020 presidential election. What an eyeroll! The whole situation has become quite the spectacle, especially with Judge McAfee putting his foot down about Willis needing to step aside if Wade stays.

McAfee didn’t hold back, calling out Willis for what he saw as a major slip-up in judgment and questioning the relationship between Willis and Wade. There were murmurs about Willis and Wade possibly showering each other with pricey gifts and maybe sharing some vacation time together. What a soap opera!

The whole mess started when Trump’s legal team and other defendant lawyers accused Willis of greasing the wheels for Wade with cash, and in return, Wade supposedly footing the bill for their fancy getaways. Talk about a tangled web of drama! The stories have been flying left and right, with some trying to boot Willis, Wade, and their crew off the case. What a wild ride this election interference probe has turned out to be!
