The rave about Nikki Haley’s chances in Nevada has reached a fever pitch, and it ain’t looking too good, folks. A new poll by Providence, a joint venture between Revere Solutions and DecipherAi, found that Haley is getting trounced by a whopping 18 points behind “none of these candidates” among GOP primary voters in Nevada. That’s right, she’s getting beat by no one! Talk about a tough crowd.
According to Revere Solutions CEO Woodrow Johnston, this whole hoopla about Haley being the bee’s knees against Joe Biden is nothing but a load of baloney. If she can’t even wrangle a win against no one, how’s she supposed to take on the big dogs like Biden and Trump? It’s like trying to teach a fish to climb a tree, folks – it just ain’t gonna happen.

Now, here’s the kicker: Nevada is in a real pickle with its presidential selection process. You see, Haley is only showing up on the primary ballot, while Trump is going all in for the Feb. 8 caucuses. The Nevada Republican Party wasn’t too keen on the idea of ditching their caucuses, so they said “thanks, but no thanks” to the state Legislature’s plan for a primary and decided to stick with the good ol’ caucus tradition.
The state of Nevada is playing some serious favorites here, recognizing only the primary and basically giving the caucuses the cold shoulder. But get this – despite all the kerfuffle, candidates and voters can still dip their toes in both pools if they fancy. It’s like a wild west showdown, except instead of pistols at dawn, it’s politicians at polls!
To add fuel to the fire, the Nevada GOP has declared a hands-off approach to the primary and put the kibosh on candidates dipping their toes in both the primary and caucuses. So, Trump went all in for the caucuses and steered clear of the primary ballot, while Haley hung her hat on the primary. Sounds like a bit of a head-scratcher, right? And to top it off, only the Nevada GOP-run caucuses will be divvying out those oh-so-coveted delegates, making Haley’s decision to only play the primary game a real head-scratcher.
And to think, her campaign ain’t shedding a lick of light on this whole conundrum. Can you believe it? It’s like trying to solve a Rubik’s Cube in the dark – a real head-scratcher, indeed.
