It’s time to shine a light on the liberal bias festering within NPR. The recent exposé by NPR senior business editor Uri Berliner has blown the lid off the left-wing propaganda machine disguised as a news outlet. Republicans have long endured NPR’s skewed reporting, but now they have the ammunition needed to defund this biased behemoth once and for all.
Berliner’s confession reveals the stark lack of viewpoint diversity at NPR. With a staggering 87 registered Democrats in editorial positions and zero Republicans, it’s no wonder NPR’s reporting leans heavily to the left. The so-called journalists at NPR have failed to separate their personal beliefs from their news coverage, leading to a litany of biased reporting on key issues.
So much for NPR being "fair & balanced."

From Russiagate to the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, NPR shamelessly pushed narratives that fit their leftist agenda while suppressing stories that could benefit conservatives. Their coverage of COVID and the George Floyd protests further exposed their blatant disregard for facts and objectivity, opting instead to peddle leftist ideologies under the guise of journalism.
Berliner’s attempts to address these concerns internally were met with dismissal and silence from NPR’s leadership. The newsroom has devolved into a hotbed of leftist zealotry, where journalism takes a backseat to pushing a progressive agenda. The American taxpayer should not be forced to fund an organization that actively works against their interests and values.
NPR’s dwindling conservative audience reflects the disconnect between the outlet and mainstream America. With only 11% of listeners identifying as conservative, NPR has strayed far from its mandate to serve a national audience. It’s high time for Republicans to overhaul the Public Broadcasting Act and ensure that taxpayer dollars support organizations that truly represent the diverse views of the American people. It’s time to pull the plug on NPR’s biased charade and restore integrity to public broadcasting.
