In a shocking turn of events, the New York Supreme Court has delivered a resounding rebuke of New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg for his relentless pursuit of citizens who dared to purchase fake COVID vaccine cards. You heard that right, folks – it seems Bragg went full force against New Yorkers who were just trying to keep their jobs during the pandemic by using fake vax cards. The nerve of these hardworking citizens, right?

It all started when a handful of folks were nabbed for allegedly buying phony vax cards from a New Jersey stripper named Jasmine Clifford. Despite most of the accused pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges, two brave souls contested the accusations. And what did Bragg do? He threw the book at them, of course! This guy sure knows how to prioritize his workload, doesn’t he?
But hold onto your hats, because the New York State Supreme Court wasn’t about to let Bragg off the hook. Justice Brendan T. Lantry took one look at the situation and was not impressed. It seems Justice Lantry found it quite curious that Bragg would go after these vaccine card fakers with such gusto while turning a blind eye to more serious crimes like murder and drug charges. I mean, come on, Bragg – get your priorities straight!
In a scathing ruling, Justice Lantry dismissed the felony charges that Bragg had slapped onto the two employees who dared to challenge him. And he didn’t mince words, folks. Lantry made it clear that this whole vaccine card fiasco was small potatoes compared to the majority of crimes that usually come across his desk. In fact, he even mentioned homicide, sexual assault, drug sales, robbery, and burglary as examples of what Bragg should be focusing on instead.
And if that wasn’t enough, Justice Lantry also took a swipe at Bragg for routinely dismissing more serious charges in the name of “justice.” It seems Bragg has a habit of letting the real bad guys off the hook while going after everyday citizens just trying to make ends meet. What a clown, indeed!
But fear not, for Republican City Council Minority Leader Joseph Borelli of Staten Island came out swinging in support of Justice Lantry’s ruling. Borelli even pointed out that one of the accused, J.O., only got the fake card out of fear and eventually ended up getting the jab for real. So how dare Bragg go after someone who was just trying to protect themselves?
In the end, it looks like Justice Lantry and Councilman Borelli have seen through Bragg’s misguided priorities and called him out for the whole world to see. It seems that justice has been served, at least for now. Let’s hope Bragg gets the memo and starts focusing on the real criminals instead of wasting time and resources on hardworking Americans just trying to survive. Go get ’em, Justice Lantry!
