PierBiden’s $300M Gaza Pier Aid Stolen by Hamas, Leaving Civilians Without Assistance

The Department of Defense has confirmed that none of the humanitarian aid sent from President Joe Biden’s temporary pier has reached civilians in the Gaza Strip. Instead, the aid has been intercepted by the Iranian-backed Hamas. This development is troubling because American taxpayers funded the pier, which cost over $300 million. Despite this significant investment, the aid has not reached its intended recipients.

Air Force Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder, the Pentagon’s Press Secretary, addressed questions regarding the effectiveness of the temporary pier. Although the construction was completed, there is uncertainty about the success of the effort. The Pentagon expressed doubts that any of the aid delivered has reached those in need.

The Biden administration’s efforts appear to have inadvertently contributed to funding terrorism and hindering Israel’s mission to combat Hamas. Reports indicate that parts of the pier have even broken free and washed up in Israel. Furthermore, the aid that did reach Gaza was seized by Hamas, exploiting American generosity.

Before encountering issues, the pier managed to deliver 71 truckloads of goods, which were subsequently looted by Hamas. Critics argue that the administration’s strategy in Gaza has been misguided, calling for hearings to address the mismanagement of over $320 million of taxpayer money. Overall, the Gaza pier is seen as a poorly conceived foreign policy maneuver that has backfired, raising questions about the administration’s strategy in the region.
