Conservative businessman Vivek Ramaswamy just announced that he’s dropping out of the presidential race after the Iowa caucuses. Talk about a rollercoaster ride! Ramaswamy, who wasn’t exactly a household name in politics, managed to climb to the third spot in the Hawkeye State’s polls. But you know what? The man’s got spunk, and he’s throwing his support behind former President Donald Trump.
In a nutshell, Ramaswamy told his fans, “Hey, there are two America First candidates, and I’m casting my vote for Trump!” He’s all gung-ho about it, too, saying that he believes it’s the best move for the good ol’ U.S. of A. Now that’s what I call some serious team spirit!

This guy was really the dark horse in the race. He started with zilch name recognition and zero experience in politics. But guess what? He managed to shoot up to a whopping 8 percent of the vote in Iowa. Can you believe it? The man sure knows how to make an entrance!
But it doesn’t stop there. Ramaswamy has been making waves with his vocal support for Trump. He even promised to pardon Trump if he was elected and tore into his fellow Republican competitors, urging them to do the same. And when Colorado’s Supreme Court said Trump couldn’t be on their primary ballot, Ramaswamy put his foot down and said, “No, thank you!” He vowed to steer clear of Colorado, Maine, and any other state that played that game. Talk about loyalty!
On top of all that, Ramaswamy has been taking aim at the Biden Administration, calling out their crackdown on the January 6 protesters and pushing for the FBI to be axed. He’s not afraid to speak his mind, that’s for sure. Plus, he thinks the country’s foreign policy needs a serious makeover and wants to stop pumping money into the war in Ukraine.
Now, Trump had a few words to say about Ramaswamy as well. The former president gave props to Ramaswamy, Nikki Haley, and Ron DeSantis for their hard-fought campaigns and even cracked a joke about their performances. He thinks they’re all sharp cookies, especially Ramaswamy for scoring almost 8 percent of the vote from zero. Well, hot diggity dog!
If you ask me, it looks like Ramaswamy is putting his money where his mouth is and doubling down on the America First movement. It’s like the guy’s playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers! And with Trump in his corner, who knows what kind of shindig is in store for the rest of the election. Strap in, folks, ’cause it’s gonna be a wild ride!
