Rep. Byron Donalds has had enough of the politically charged theatrics spewed by Vice President Kamala Harris, especially when it comes to her obsessive need to paint former President Donald Trump as the new Adolf Hitler while actual attempts on his life are being made. In an appearance on CNBC’s Squawk Box, Donalds expressed disbelief that anyone could claim Harris’s vitriol is minimal. Apparently, under the watchful eye of the mainstream media, it’s perfectly acceptable for Democrats to launch rhetorical grenades without consequence.
During the discussion, host Andrew Ross Sorkin tried to spin some yarn about how the Trump campaign is the real culprit of negativity. This, of course, came as a shock to Donalds, who couldn’t help but point out the absurdity of Harris’s habit of invoking Hitler’s name. While arguing that Harris spends considerable time denigrating Trump—comparing him to a notorious dictator that has long been buried in the sands of time—Donalds made it clear that it’s hypocritical to label Trump the villain when Harris herself is the one throwing around incendiary rhetoric.

The timing of these personal attacks raises eyebrows, particularly following multiple assassination attempts on Trump. One of these instances involved an armed individual on a golf course where Trump was playing, who now finds himself tangled in a legal mess after being charged with an array of grievous offenses. It’s hard to take Harris’s relentless jabs seriously when the stakes are life and death. Yet the Vice President continues her campaign of disinformation with all the gusto of someone completely detached from reality.
Further fanning the flames of absurdity, Harris, along with other Democratic figures like Hillary Clinton, has equated our current political climate to 1939, all while hawking books that wishful thinkers pretend to care about. The cherry on top of this melodrama? Donalds laid out the baffling reality that the left conveniently ignores: the impending threats against Trump that could mean actual violence. However, it appears Harris and her allies have chosen to weaponize their political rhetoric instead of reflecting on the genuine implications of their words.
As Trump navigates these dangerous waters, the question remains: will Americans continue to indulge the Democrats’ brand of hyperbolic politics? It’s one thing to rally support; it’s another to risk inciting real violence through baseless analogies. It’s time to call out the Democrats for their reckless, theatrical antics rather than allowing them to promote a narrative where they are the supposed moral arbiters of political sentiment. The rumbles of a politicized circus act don’t hold any weight when lives are on the line—unless, of course, the goal is to obscure the truth with a barrage of uncertainty and fear.
