In a bustling city not known for its love of all things conservative, a group of Republican lawmakers took a field trip to support former President Donald Trump in a legal scuffle. Yep, you read that right! Reps like Andy Biggs from Arizona, Lauren Boebert from Colorado, and a whole caravan of others showed up to rally behind Trump as he faced off with those pesky charges from years back. And guess what? They weren’t alone. Even more GOP big shots like Sens. Rick Scott and Tommy Tuberville joined in the fun!
These lawmakers weren’t just there for moral support either. They took to the media to make sure their voices were heard loud and clear. Matt Gaetz boldly claimed that Michael Cohen, the prosecution’s star witness, could be called the President of the Liar’s Club with all the fibs he’s telling. And Andy Ogles didn’t hold back either, calling Cohen a “convicted felon” and Stormy Daniels a “hooker.” Not mincing words, huh?

Things got even juicier when Bob Good decided to take a swing at the judge, accusing his daughter of being a top fundraiser for those pesky Democrats. But the cherry on top was Eli Crane’s revelation that Cohen admitted to lying a whopping six times! Now that’s a lot of fibbing even for a Pinocchio in training.
As the day unfolded, these GOP warriors made it clear that they had Trump’s back. From questioning Cohen’s credibility to hinting at political biases in the courtroom, these lawmakers didn’t shy away from throwing punches. Mike Waltz even compared the scene to a drama you’d see in some far-off land, wondering if America was heading down a slippery slope.
So, there you have it – a day in the life of some fiery conservatives making waves in the Big Apple. Love ’em or hate ’em, you can’t deny they sure know how to make a statement!
