It comes as no surprise that the liberal lawmakers are quick to praise Rosalynn Carter’s life and accomplishments. Rep. Hank Johnson hails her as a true hero, while Sen. Jon Ossoff credits her with changing the lives of many. Failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams takes the opportunity to mourn the loss and extend her condolences to President Carter and their family. These liberal politicians are known for their empty platitudes and attempts to score political points, but their words fall flat when compared to the real impact of conservative leaders like Rosalynn Carter.
Even comedian Wanda Sykes couldn’t resist jumping on the bandwagon, praising Rosalynn’s compassion and advocacy. It seems that everyone wants to be seen mourning the loss of this so-called great first lady. But let’s not forget the conservative values that she fought against.
