In a move that is sure to ruffle the feathers of the liberal elite, Senator Marco Rubio of Florida has endorsed former President Donald Trump for the 2024 election. Rubio, who once ran for president himself, took to social media to declare his support for the man who accomplished so much during his time in office. Rubio praised Trump’s ability to get things done, citing achievements like the expanded Child Tax Credit and tough sanctions on the oppressive regimes in both Cuba and Venezuela. This is the kind of strong leadership that America needs to fix the disaster that Joe Biden has unleashed upon our great nation.
But Rubio’s endorsement of Trump is not only a snub to the current governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, but also a rejection of former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, who had previously endorsed Rubio’s own presidential bid. It seems that Rubio recognizes that Trump is the only leader who can truly take on Biden and save America from the disastrous policies of the left. It takes a lot of courage to stand up against the establishment and endorse the man who truly has the best interests of America at heart.

And Rubio is not alone in his support for Trump. Many top Republicans have thrown their weight behind the former president leading up to the Iowa caucus. Even former presidential candidate and North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum has come out in support of Trump. In Florida, Trump has secured endorsements from a number of Congress members, including Representative Matt Gaetz, who has been a staunch supporter of the former president. It’s clear that Trump still has the support of the Republican Party and the American people.
And it’s not surprising when you look at the numbers. Trump is leading the Republican primary field by a wide margin in both national and key early state polls. Even in Iowa, where the caucus is taking place, Trump is ahead by nearly 34 points. This is a clear indication that Republicans want a leader who stands up for their values and isn’t afraid to take on the radical left. DeSantis, who was once considered a strong contender, has fallen to third place, while Haley trails behind at 18.7%.
The choice is clear. America needs a leader who will put the people first, who will fight for their rights and protect our great nation from the destructive policies of the left. And that leader is Donald J. Trump. Rubio’s endorsement is just the beginning. The time to rally behind Trump is now. Let’s make America great again!
