Rudy Giuliani’s Health Crisis Reveals the Left’s Dangerous Extremism

America’s Mayor, Rudy Giuliani, is fighting for his life after being hospitalized with pneumonia and briefly placed on a ventilator, though his team says he is now breathing on his own and being monitored in critical but stable condition. This is the kind of health scare that stops you in your tracks — an American who stood up for law and order now needing the prayers and support of patriots across the country. Hardworking Americans should join in asking for his recovery and for clarity from the media about how this beloved public figure has been treated over the years.

Rudy has been vilified by the left and smeared by a media that prefers cheap character assassination to honest reporting, but even his critics should be able to wish him well without gloating. President Trump publicly praised Giuliani and has called him a fighter, a reminder that loyalty and courage still matter in Washington’s chaotic theater. This moment exposes the deep cultural rot: we can debate politics, but we must never cheer when a man who served the public lies ill.

Meanwhile in Pennsylvania, federal agents arrested Raymond Eugene Chandler III after an investigation found he left a series of grotesque voicemails urging violence, including telling a lawmaker to walk into the Oval Office and shoot the President and graphically threatening a congressman’s family. The FBI and Secret Service took action — as they should — because violent rhetoric that crosses into explicit threats is not protected speech and must be prosecuted aggressively. That a man who announced a bid for the U.S. Senate would descend into such depravity is a grim reflection of how normalized violence has become on parts of the left.

Let there be no ambiguity: conservatives denounce political violence, and we demand the same standards of decency from our opponents that we hold for ourselves. When fringe characters start calling for assassination, it is the responsibility of law enforcement and the justice system to act, and the responsibility of decent citizens to reject the nihilism that produces such monsters. The political class must stop wink-and-nod tolerating extremism when it suits their narrative; accountability should be blind to partisan outrage.

At the same time our highest court is caught in a pressure cooker of politicized fury, with protests, threats, and calls to intimidate justices that endanger the independence of the judiciary and the rule of law. Congress and law enforcement have already moved to bolster protections for justices and their families in response to threats and protests that crossed legal lines, but the lesson is clear: the left’s strategy of mob intimidation against judges is corrosive and must be beaten back. The stability of our republic depends on judges being able to decide cases without fear of violence or vandalism.

If we love this country, we will defend its institutions even when we disagree with outcomes; that means protecting the justices, supporting law enforcement when they do their jobs, and calling out the radicals who traffic in assassination fantasies. America is not a reality show where the loudest mob wins — it is a constitutional republic that demands respect for process, decency toward opponents, and courage from citizens. Patriots don’t cheer when an opponent is targeted; they strengthen the system that protects us all.

Pray for Rudy Giuliani, pray for the safety of our leaders and judges, and prepare to act in November by turning out confident, moral conservatives who will restore common sense and civility. The Left’s violent fringes are not the mainstream, and it’s time the country treated them as the dangerous outliers they are instead of normalizing their behavior. Stand up for law and order, for the dignity of public service, and for a nation where disagreement never becomes an invitation to murder.
