Senator Hawley SLAMS Biden for GROSS Joke

Republican Senator Josh Hawley did not hold back in his criticism of President Joe Biden, who appeared to make light of the Tennessee school shooting tragedy that left six people dead. Hawley accused Biden of joking around regarding a shooting that took place at The Covenant School in Nashville. The senator claimed the school shooting was a “hate crime” and that the transgender shooter specifically targeted Christians because of their religious affiliation. However, the police have yet to confirm this detail. Biden was asked by a reporter whether he thinks Christians were the targets of the shooting. The president’s response was lackluster, and some might say inappropriate, saying he has “no idea” and even jokingly saying “I probably don’t then… No, I’m joking. No, I have no idea.”

Senator Hawley wasted no time calling out President Biden for his insensitivity and lack of seriousness when it comes to hate crimes. Hawley made it clear that there is nothing funny about such tragic events. Sen. Hawley is known for his conservative values and stands up for religious freedom. He believes that the religious affiliation of the victims matters and that the country needs to take notice of these concerning details.

Biden, on the other hand, has made it a mission to push for stricter gun laws and seems to be politically motivated to pass an “assault weapons” ban. Biden stated that he spoke with the victims’ families, police officers that saved lives, Tennessee’s governor, and Nashville’s mayor. However, during his address at the Women’s Business Summit, he jokingly spoke about chocolate chip ice cream before mentioning the school shooting. This showed a lack of empathy and seriousness regarding what occurred at The Covenant School.

In concluding, it is important to note that, despite the tragedy and the loss of life, Biden still managed to maintain his platform of pushing for stricter gun laws, which may not address the underlying causes of such crimes. Hawley will continue to stand up for the rights and freedoms of Christians and all Americans. In essence, the two have different priorities, and it is up to the American people to decide whose values align more with theirs.
