In a stunning turn of events, a federal appeals panel has made a decision that has sent shockwaves through the political world. It turns out that former President Donald Trump can actually be prosecuted for his actions following the 2020 election.
Naturally, this news did not sit well with Trump, who took to Truth Social, his favorite platform, to voice his concerns. He warned that if a president doesn’t have immunity, then the opposing party could extort and blackmail them by threatening to indict them for things they did while in office.
Trump went on to claim that this ruling is a threat not only to him but also to Presidents Bush, Clinton, and Obama. According to him, without presidential immunity, they too could find themselves wearing orange jumpsuits. Personally, I think the only time Obama will be wearing orange is when he indulges in a particularly bold fashion choice.
Not one to be left out of the conversation, conservative activist Stephen Miller chimed in with his two cents. He argued that President Biden could now be prosecuted for his failure to control illegal migration at the border.
But let’s not forget the legal expert, Jonathan Turley, who believes that Trump will appeal this ruling. According to Turley, many legal observers saw this coming, which begs the question, can’t these legal observers use their powers for something more useful, like predicting the next season of “The Bachelor”?
