Colin Jost of Saturday Night Live made jokes about President Joe Biden at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday night. The event’s host, Kelly O’Donnell, showed some of Jost’s high school newspaper clips before he took the stage, where he thanked her. Jost joked about Biden not having the technology for such displays when he was in high school.
Speaking after Biden, Jost said he was thrilled to share the stage with the president and quipped about trying to figure out where Obama was pulling the strings from. He also made a jocular remark about following Biden, saying it’s not always easy to follow what he’s saying.

Jost shifted away from Biden and remarked on the pleasant surprise of seeing a president at an event that didn’t start with a bailiff saying, “All rise.” He then offered analysis on former President Donald Trump’s trial, mentioning how long Sleepy Joe is awake compared to Trump’s court appearances.
The SNL host also mentioned polling numbers for a potential 2024 general election rematch between Biden and Trump. He went on to make a comment about losing support and humorously described the 2024 election race, contrasting the characters of the Republican and Democratic candidates.
Jost also touched on Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s anti-vaccine stance in relation to his 2024 campaign and made a joke about the cocaine found at the White House last year, claiming he left it there. He also made a quip about Biden using it for the State of the Union address.
The report also mentioned how Biden laughed at Jost’s jokes, as shown on C-SPAN.
