State Department Staff Quit Over US-Israel Policy

The State Department has lost yet another team member as Hala Rharrit, the Arabic-language spokesperson, has thrown in the towel due to her opposition to America’s support for Israel in the war against Hamas terrorists. She spilled the beans on social media, saying she couldn’t stomach US policy on Gaza after 18 years of service. Josh Paul, the former director of the Office of Congressional & Public Affairs for the State Department’s Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, also walked out in October, citing disagreement with the provision of lethal arms to Israel. The State Department has apparently become a breeding ground for anti-Israel sentiment, with reports of “listening sessions” for staff to gripe about Uncle Sam’s support for the country that the majority of Americans back.

The State Department seems to have more exits than a supermarket. These quitters are waving the anti-Israel flag high and proud. Hala Rharrit didn’t tiptoe out the door – she made sure the whole world knew why she was hightailing it out of there. And Josh Paul? He left while slamming the door behind him, making it loud and clear that he was not on board with the US policy on Israel. Looks like the State Department is turning into an episode of “The Real World: Washington, DC” with all this drama.

What’s with the State Department becoming a safe space for Israel haters? These quitters are just jumping ship because they don’t like America’s friendship with Israel. Who knew the State Department was the newest hotspot for anti-Israel vibes? Maybe they need a good old-fashioned team-building exercise to smooth things over. But hey, as the saying goes, if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. And it seems some folks are definitely not fans of the kitchen’s special dish, “Support for Israel.”
