Friends, enemies, and anyone else within earshot, it’s time to buckle up for some good old-fashioned foreign policy talk. During the third GOP presidential primary debate, the incomparable Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) showed he’s got the guts and the gusto to tell it like it is. And boy, did he have some choice words for President Joe Biden.
When the question of how to handle the Israel-Hamas war came up, Scott didn’t hold back. He unequivocally stood by Israel’s right to defend itself against the onslaught of terror from Hamas. But then, he turned his sights back home and took aim at President Biden. Scott minced no words in calling out the weak strategy of “diplomacy only” and the dangerous path of appeasement that Scott argued leads straight to war.

And when it comes to who’s funding the madness in the Middle East, Scott didn’t tiptoe around the issue. He didn’t just point fingers at the Iranian regime, he wagged his finger right in their direction. Scott boldly declared that the “head of the snake” is Iran, and the only way to stop their terrorist antics is to strike right at the heart of the beast.
Now, some might say, “But, what about the recent U.S. airstrike in Syria? Doesn’t that count for something?” Sure, the Biden administration may have made a move in the right direction with that strike, but Scott made it crystal clear that it’s not enough. He argued that to truly make a difference and protect American personnel in the Middle East, the U.S. must take the fight directly to Iran.
And speaking of protecting American interests, Scott made it abundantly clear that his foreign policy is as straightforward as they come: “You cannot negotiate with evil. You have to destroy it.”
So, there you have it, folks. Sen. Tim Scott isn’t afraid to ruffle some feathers and take on the tough challenges. He’s calling for a strike in Iran, not just for the sake of America’s safety, but for the survival of our greatest ally in the Middle East—Israel. Because when it comes to defending freedom and democracy, there’s no room for half measures. It’s all or nothing. And that’s how Sen. Tim Scott rolls.
