In the latest news, a New Hampshire Republican, James Spillane, has announced that he is withdrawing his endorsement from former President Donald Trump due to his harsh criticism towards Kayleigh McEnany, his former press secretary. Spillane, who was one of the original 51 endorsers for Trump, expressed his disappointment towards the former president’s lack of loyalty and negative behavior.

“I thought that he would be able to continue with a positive message, learn from his past mistakes and give us a way forward to continue the policies that he started before…But it’s become evident, especially with the latest attack on Kayleigh McEnany that there’s no loyalty in him,” said Spillane.

Spillane also pointed out that Trump’s behavior is unacceptable and cannot be condoned. He further added that he would endorse Florida Governor Ron DeSantis instead, who he believes is a loyal person and brings a positive message.
Many conservatives are beginning to realize that Trump is not the best candidate for the Republican Party, with his inaccuracies and lack of loyalty. This announcement from Spillane proves that even the most die-hard Trump supporters are turning their backs on him.
As Trump continues to lose support among conservatives, it is evident that the Republican Party is looking for a leader who can continue the policies that Trump started, but with a positive message. Governor DeSantis could be just the person they are looking for.
It is time for the Republican Party to move forward with a leader who has the best interests of America and its people at heart, and Governor DeSantis is just that kind of leader. With his loyalty, positive message, and dedication to conservative policies, the Republican Party can continue to thrive and succeed in the years to come.
