Trump Crushes DeSantis in Polls: GOP Unfazed by Legal Woes, Eyes Biden Showdown!

In the latest poll conducted by The New York Times and Siena College, it’s the same old story for the Republican presidential primary field. Trump is soaring ahead with a commanding lead, leaving DeSantis in a distant second place, and the rest of the candidates trailing far, far behind with a measly three percent or less.

The numbers don’t lie, folks. According to the Times/Siena poll, Trump captured a whopping 54 percent of the likely primary voters, while poor DeSantis only managed to muster 17 percent. Meanwhile, Haley, Scott, and Pence could barely scrape together three percent each, and Ramaswamy and Christie embarrassingly tied at a mere two percent. The other candidates? Well, let’s just say they failed to make any kind of meaningful impact.

Now, this shellacking Trump is handing out to his GOP rivals isn’t exclusive to one particular demographic. Nope. The survey showed that Trump is dominating across the board. It doesn’t matter if you’re a man or a woman, young or old, college-educated or not, or living in the city, suburbs, or rural areas. Trump reigns supreme. And guess what? The Republican voters aren’t fazed by his escalating legal troubles. They see him as a strong, capable leader who can get things done, and that’s what matters.

Poor DeSantis must be feeling the burn! Despite his claims of being more electable and a better governor, the voters just ain’t buyin’ it. Even those who share his passion for fighting against the radical woke ideology are throwing their support behind Trump. Can you blame ’em? Trump has proven time and time again that he’s the man for the job. In fact, when asked to choose between Trump and DeSantis in a head-to-head contest, even those who believe Trump may have committed serious crimes still preferred him over DeSantis. Ouch!

Sure, DeSantis may have a few points in his favor. Some voters find him more likable and moral. But let’s face it, folks, the majority of Republicans recognize that Trump is just plain fun. He’s the guy who can beat Joe Biden and accomplish things like nobody else. And when it comes down to it, that’s what the people want.

Now, some might argue that it’s still early in the primary race and things could change. But let’s be real here. The math doesn’t lie. Each indictment hurled at Trump only seems to fuel his supporters’ fire. They firmly believe he’s the one to retire Biden and lead this country to greatness again. So what if they think he might have committed serious crimes? That doesn’t deter their unwavering support. Trump is their guy, and they’re not jumping ship anytime soon.
