Pollster Frank Luntz was flabbergasted. At a GOP convention, he saw something he’d never witnessed before: a stage brimming with hardworking taxpayers, African-Americans, working women, union members, and delegates busting moves in the aisles. All this, accompanied by speeches ripping into Corporate America and the status quo, sent traditionalists’ heads spinning. The liberal media seemed utterly shell-shocked. While they scrambled for an explanation, Luntz summed it up succinctly—this is Trump-style politics, a realignment of American politics as we know it.
What unfolded was a Republican Party most Americans might not have recognized. The energy on that stage wasn’t just diverse—it was electric. It’s like the party found that long-lost ‘oomph’ they’ve been searching for. And what does liberal media do when faced with such an undeniable spectacle? They lecture and criticize, because heaven forbid the party of ‘no fun’ had to give credit where it’s due. This right-wing Renaissance even had young men fleeing from the Democratic Party like it was on fire. Who could blame them? There’s only so much finger-wagging and guilt-tripping about football and hamburgers that any red-blooded American can take.
Did MSNBC Laugh at the Family of Rachel Morin Last Night?https://t.co/Bo3rZhtDFF pic.twitter.com/sJMCNX0V7k

Transparent and desperate, the liberal pundits droned on, missing the kick of every GOP punchline. As everyday Americans delivered heartfelt speeches on Biden’s disastrous tenure, the left-leaning networks were busy fact-checking in real-time, desperate to derail the narrative. Case in point: ABC News jumped to downplay the rise in crime, blathering about how crime statistics are actually down. Sure, if one ignores the gutted reporting on crime because the numbers didn’t fit the liberal agenda.
MSNBC outdid itself in distaste when Chris Hayes and Joy Reid laughed and dismissed the poignant testimonies of victims like Rachel Morin’s family. They were so out of touch, they felt it appropriate to mock a family grieving a loved one brutally murdered by an illegal alien. They chuckled as if such heart-wrenching stories were just sound bites. That’s the elite media bubble for you—never touching the ground where real people walk, work, and worry.
Over at PBS, the talking heads predictably labeled any mention of illegal alien crime as blatantly racist. They didn’t stop to ponder the victims left in the wake of unchecked immigration policies. But hey, reality doesn’t intrude much on their side of the fence. Soft-hearted but hard-headed, their logic was flawless in their world of make-believe where borders are an illusion and safety is a given.
And then there was Trump’s bandaged ear, a testament to the failed assassination attempt. This was all but lost on MSNBC’s Ari Melber, who couldn’t fathom its significance beyond “a prop.” Yes, the man escaped death by a fraction and Melber wrote it off as theater. Someone should remind him that in politics, theater is part of the game, especially when the stakes are this high. The liberal media’s inability to grasp this makes them look more like jesters in a play they don’t understand.
With such a carnival of cluelessness and contempt from the left-leaning networks, is it any wonder that Donald Trump continues to resonate with everyday Americans? Their disdain only fuels the fire, pushing more people to see through the media fog and embrace a message that speaks to their real-life experiences. If the Democrats could pull their heads out of their academic utopias for a hot second, they might realize what’s happening. But until then, get the popcorn ready—as Trump and his diverse array of supporters continue to rewrite the script of American politics.
