This week on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, a group of undecided voters from Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania made it crystal clear they are not impressed with President Joe Biden’s handling of the economy. In a shocking turn of events, all eight panicked panelists raised their hands in favor of former President Donald Trump when asked who they believed would improve the economy.
Nathan from Wisconsin didn’t hold back, declaring Biden’s economic performance as “absolutely disastrous.” Virginia from Pennsylvania chimed in with a resounding agreement, sending a clear message that these undecided voters are not buying into Biden’s economic policies.

But it didn’t stop there. Shawn from Pennsylvania pointed to the performance of his 401(k) as evidence that Trump’s economic policies would benefit his family. Virginia added fuel to the fire, emphasizing the standstill in Pennsylvania and the struggle for people to invest due to sky-high interest rates. And Tenisha from Michigan revealed the harsh reality of being a first-time homebuyer in the current economic climate, with exorbitant housing prices making the dream of homeownership out of reach.
When asked if there was anything Biden could do or say to sway their opinions, Gigi from Pennsylvania emphasized Biden’s lack of accountability and denial of the economic turmoil. And Omar from Michigan, who had voted for Biden in the previous election, expressed his disappointment, calling out Biden for disregarding the struggles of everyday Americans and focusing solely on the stock market.
This panel of undecided voters did not hold back in expressing their dissatisfaction with Biden’s economic policies, and it’s clear that his administration has some serious work to do to win over these crucial voters. With the 2024 election on the horizon, Biden’s team better start listening to the people and addressing their economic concerns if they have any hope of winning back the confidence of voters in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.
