US Retail Apocalypse Escalates Under Biden as Stores Close Nationwide

The state of the U.S. economy continues to look grim as more and more retail stores are closing their doors. Last week, a staggering 169 stores shut down, marking a 12.3 percent increase from the previous year. Popular chains like Urban Outfitters and Walmart were among those forced to close locations.

So far this year, there have been a total of 2,587 closures, which is about 300 more than the same time last year. The number of new store openings has also decreased, with major retailers announcing 7.4 percent fewer openings compared to last year. It’s clear that the business environment under President Joe Biden’s administration is not doing any favors for the retail sector.

One contributing factor to the closures is the shift toward online shopping and changes in consumer interests. However, the rampant lawlessness in Democratic-run cities, which has led to increased instances of shoplifting and other crimes, is also causing businesses to shutter their doors.

Despite President Biden’s promises of “building an economy where no one is going to be left behind,” the reality paints a different picture. The impact of Biden’s economic policies, along with those of the Democratic Party, has been disastrous for businesses. With rising inflation, the path to success is becoming narrower by the day.

With the situation looking dire, we call to stand against the “America-hating left” and to continue supporting efforts to preserve conservative values.
