Perhaps the most damning examples come from state-level scandals that Democrats tried to downplay. House Oversight investigators have detailed an estimated $9 billion lost or at serious risk in Minnesota’s social services programs, with testimony suggesting systematic failures and negligence by state officials who should have been protecting those funds. If true, these revelations are an outrage to every American who pays taxes and listens to the constant lectures about “helping the vulnerable” while money vanishes into corrupt networks.
Vice President Vance has not just talked — he’s acted, referring evidence gathered by congressional investigators to the Department of Justice for criminal inquiry in cases like Minnesota, making it clear this administration intends to push for accountability, not press releases.
