For several years now, the global community has been attempting to uncover the origins of COVID-19. However, scientific investigations have failed to provide a comprehensive explanation. This can largely be attributed to China, where both the government and public health officials have refused to grant access to investigators. In addition, the World Health Organization has been implicated in this issue, as they have unquestioningly accepted assertions made by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and have not been forthcoming about China’s treatment of scientists studying the outbreak of COVID-19.
Complete, utter failure by the health care community.
I have no words… Just furious.
10 million dead, and their response?
¯_(ツ)_/¯

According to a recent article published in Nature, the WHO has reportedly abandoned the next phase of its inquiry into the origin of COVID-19 due to the Chinese government’s unwillingness to permit access to investigators. Gerald Keusch, a faculty member at Boston University’s National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratory Institute, criticized the handling of the COVID origin investigations by the global community, China, and the WHO. He also mentioned that the WHO should have been more open about China’s successful attempts to obstruct investigations.
And people who say "Oh, but we need their assistance for future diseases…"
YEAH, AND WHERE DID THAT GET IS LAST TIME, WHEN IT ACTUALLY MATTERED?

The WHO has abandoned any expectation of uncovering the genuine source of the COVID-19 pandemic due to the lack of access to China. Consequently, any culpability on the part of China will remain unacknowledged by the international community, and there is no means of determining the likelihood of another virus entering the populace in Wuhan or elsewhere and subsequently spreading globally.
President Joe Biden’s failure to demand accountability and transparency from the CCP is not unexpected, given his stance toward antagonistic nations. However, this inaction is worrisome since Beijing was aware of COVID-19 before the rest of the world and attempted to conceal it for as long as feasible, squandering valuable time that could have been used for other nations to plan a response.
The WHO’s lack of initiative in acquiring the necessary answers from China to fully comprehend the genesis and rapid transmission of COVID-19 is concerning. It is puzzling why the Chinese Communist Party, which oppresses its people by depriving them of basic human rights, is engaging in genocide against religious minorities, and is attempting to pilfer the world’s intellectual property through espionage, is being treated with leniency. Regrettably, President Biden and the WHO appear indifferent to China’s continued impunity.
