While some pundits have spent more time crying in their lattes about Trump, Robertson approached the situation with a refreshing perspective. He argued that the economic strength and national safety during the 2020 race positioned Trump as a surefire winner over Joe Biden. Robertson’s endorsement of Trump back in 2016 continues to hold water. With Trump once again on the winning path, it seems feasible to say that a Robertson-style renaissance is underway, where loyalty to the Constitution and American values is celebrated rather than shunned. There’s no denying it: in a world full of chaos, embracing Trump is the new cool.
