WOW: Bud Light Has Learned NOTHING From Marketing Disaster

Bud Light thought it was a good idea to work with Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender celebrity, but sales numbers are showing otherwise. Yes, folks, it seems like common sense to stay away from controversial social problems if you want to appeal to a wide range of customers, but Bud Light didn't get the memo. In fact, their sales have dropped by up to 25% for the last six weeks in a row because they are working with Mulvaney, who doesn't identify with a specific gender.

Even though these numbers are disappointing, Bud Light and its parent company, Anheuser-Busch, are doing more to promote pride events. They are supporting a number of "pride" events, including the Cincinnati Pride event on June 24 and the Pride St. Louis festival on June 24-25. They are also a Diamond business partner of Stonewall Columbus, which hosts several "pride" events in Columbus, Ohio, all through June. A document from the group says that Bud Light must donate $20,000 and agree to donate at least 8 hours of volunteer time during a calendar year to be in this sponsorship level.

But hold on, there's more!

On a page that no longer exists, Bud Light was named as a sponsor of the Chicago Pride Parade. The company said, "We have a clear role to play in bringing real change and making the world more fair and inclusive, where everyone is valued and celebrated." Anheuser-Busch also makes Corona and Corona Hard Seltzer, and both are mentioned as sponsors of the upcoming Los Angeles Pride Parade. And if that wasn't enough, Cutwater Spirits, another product made by Anheuser-Busch, is already mentioned as a sponsor of the 2023 Chicago Pride Fest, which will happen a week before the Chicago Pride Parade.

Since April 1, their market value has dropped by a huge $15.7 billion. One would think that after Pride-related sponsorships caused sales to drop, the company would have learned how to serve all possible customers. But on the other hand, in today's world of woke virtue signaling and political correctness, it's hard to make good business choices.
