Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders is taking a stand for the safety of children in the state by signing Senate Bill 270 into law. This bill amends the Arkansas Code to clarify the definition of “sex” as “a person’s immutable biological sex as objectively determined by anatomy and genetics existing at the time of birth.” This bill also makes it illegal for adults of 18 years or older to knowingly use a public changing facility assigned to individuals of the opposite sex.

This bill is a much needed step in protecting children from the dangers of the radical left’s agenda. Governor Sanders has made it clear that she will not allow the state of Arkansas to be used as a platform for the left’s agenda. By signing this bill, she is sending a strong message that Arkansas will not tolerate any attempts to rewrite the rules of biology in order to appease a small group of far-left activists.
