You won’t believe what Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott and the City Council are up to now! They’ve gone and filed a lawsuit against the big shots over at Grace Ocean Private Ltd. and Synergy Marine Pte Ltd., the owners and operators of that troublemaking Dali ship that crashed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge and caused it to come tumbling down.
The lawsuit, which was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, is demanding a jury trial to hold the owners and operators accountable for all the damage and chaos they caused. But wait, there’s more! The lawsuit alleges that the ship’s crew ignored warning signs about the ship’s power supply before they even left port. That’s right, the Dali was apparently not in tip-top shape, but they set sail anyway. Now, Baltimore is pointing fingers and making big claims about this whole ordeal.
